The color identity of Lee Chong Wei is a proud yellow. While yellow is the primary color of the racket, the frame sides are black, and the top of the frame is white. Its look and feel hints at the fierceness of the tiger in the deep forests of Malaysia.
The yellow also captures Lee Chong Wei's feeling of pride when he plays. The top of the frame is colored white to express the ease and lightness of his swing.
Furthermore, there is an intensely beautiful blue color on both sides of the frame, representing tiger's eyes.
"I feel positive when I play games with this racket design' Lee Chong Wei told YONEX after seeing his racket model. This racket embodies his lightning sharp playing style.
YONEX has developed new designs based on each players' favorite racket and inspired by each players' style. The three players also had hands on role advising on the designs.
On the quest for the best racket YONEX made more than 200 different designs for each model. Then they picked 30 to 40 different designs to develop into sample rackets. Finally, after exhaustive testing and retesting, YONEX created the ultimate design. Each player"s signature was engraved into their respective racket to show that the racket had captured the player's spirit.
Yonex Armortec 900 Power is designed for hard hitters and offensive / attacking players. The racket is made to help players produce explosive smash power using Yonex latest technologies, Micro Ti and Elastic Ti. Micro Ti is loaded into the top of the frame to help hold the shuttlecock like a bow holding an arrow. The Elastic Ti which is loaded into the frame and the shaft of the racket help to store and release the energy as bow pulls and releases an arrow to its target.
Single Pass stringing - smaller grommets hole at the top for more frame stability.
Damage to the top of a racket through contact with a partner's racket characterizes the doubles game. The Single-pass Grommet Hole Construction puts more grommet holes at the top of the frame at the 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock position, creating a unique single-pass stringing pattern for high end Armortec line of badminton rackets that builds 7% more durability upward in the frame for greater protection against contact damage.
New dimension in speed and power
Yonex "Power Armor" technology generates more power, deliver more face stability, and provide a robust "metallic feel" on impact.
3% more stability in the face.
The edge of the frame top is reduced to build 3% more face stability into the frame of Yonex Armortec Badminton Racquets, minimizing distortion and maximizing control.
Control Support Cap (CSC)
Control Support Cap (CSC) provides a wider flat surface for easier gripping. It supports a quick swing through and nimble maneuverability.
4% more speed generated by the unique head weighted effect.
The graphite and gForce Ti hybrid construction at the top of Armortec Rackets creates a head weighted effect that packs 4% more speed into smash.
