The racket is reinforced by compressive-structure frame for intricate and steady strokes to achieve high maneuverability and control of shots.

The racket name "Woods" came from the adage in Sun Tzu Art of War that stated, "When in movement, be as swift as the storm. When in tactics, be as intricate as the woods. When in aggression, be as ferocious as the flame. When in stillness, be as steady as the rocks". Top badminton players' unrivalled tactics share the same characteristics with Woods - exuberant, invulnerable and boundless.

5 of 5 Best Racket Ever January 22, 2012
Reviewer: Trevor Bouvier from Dawson Creek, BC Canada
I've been playing for almost 10 years and this racket is by far the greatest. I quickly found more pop in my smash and more control in my back court drops.

If you are looking to purchase 1 racket in your lifetime I highly recommend this one

General:
New design at 2&10 positions of the frame gives the best combination of power & control.

Head:
The frame cross-section is more like a rounded triangle (instead of oval or I beam), which increased the relative thickness to handle higher string tension without distortion(maximu power).

The frame at 2&10 position was thickened and created 1 more horizontal line which makes the string-mesh shape more closer to square (better control).

Shaft:
The balance point is at the center of the shaft which gives the maximu repulsion and swing stability.

Handle:
The slant side was widened to be the same as the narrow side.  This gives the thumb more contact surface to transfer more thumb-power and better control for backhand shots.
